Open to 3 leadliners

The leadline division is open to riders 8 years old and under to show at the walk and trot on lead.

3 Walk Trotters

The Walk Trot Division is open to riders 8 – 12 years old who can control their mount at the walk and trot and have never shown at the canter.

3 Walk Trot Canterers

The Walk Trot Canter Division is open to riders 8 years and older who can control their horse at the walk, trot, canter, and hand gallop.

This camp is ideal for riders interested in showing in Hunter Seat and in games classes. Monday through Thursday, campers will learn about preparing a horse for a show, preparing a rider for a show, what is involved in showing, and what the judge is looking for in the show ring. Friday, campers will be assisted in cleaning tack and getting their horse ready for the horse show.

Campers will compete in the BTA / BOLT (Boxford Trails Association / Boxford Open Land Trust) unrated fun horse show on July 19th. Show tack will be provided. Riders must have show boots and tan breeches. Further attire TBA.

Space is limited to 9 riders on a first come first serve basis.
Cost includes
Horse Camp         $400               ($300 if rider is signed up for another July Horse Camp)
Horse Rental        $25
Trucking Fee        $10
Show Entry Fee   As prize list indicates
Coaching Fee       included in camp

Total Cost            $435+ show fees               ($335 if rider is signed up for another Horse Camp)

$100 non-refundable deposit by May 1st  to reserve a space. Balance is due on first day of camp.
