Intermediate Riders

An intermediate rider is a rider that is confident in riding a horse on his or her own at a walk, trot, and canter. May be starting over fences or in training level dressage or equivalent. Rider is confident even if horse is not. Rider can stay on through most spooks and can ride through it when the horse is acting up.

An intermediate rider will begin with private lessons on a lesson horse. As goals are established and riding level is confirmed, intermediate students may choose to work with their own horses and may enroll in group lessons.

Intermediate riders will learn to work with the horse through patterns and dressage movements. The individual may choose to jump.

Each lesson will be tailored to the individual's goals.
